Where Valdives began
Valdives was born from a shared love of scuba diving, friendship, travel, and the people who make every trip unforgettable.
A story built around diving
Val and Brent met in August 2019 at a Down Under Divers Club outing at Fantasy Lake, when Val was a newly certified diver discovering her passion for the underwater world.
What started as a shared love of diving quickly grew into something much bigger. Their relationship deepened through dive trips, and Brent proposed during a scuba diving adventure in Florida.
Before they were married, Val and Brent bought into Divin’ Dawgs Scuba and, together with their dear friends Tim and Jan Stelma, operated the dive shop for four years.
In June 2022, they were married at Mystery Lake, one of their favorite dive sites and a place filled with unforgettable memories.
